Help to establish the age & maker of this vase
« on: June 19, 2014, 01:05:51 PM »
I recently purchased this iridescent gold 'pineapple' cut glass vase and wondered if anyone could shed any light as to the maker or age so I can determine it's worth.
It's in very good condition.  There are no factory markings.  It measures 15cm in height and weighs 610grams /1.34pounds
Any advice you can give will be gratefully received.
Many thanks
Gina

There are two similar carnival glass vases here on this web link described as being made at the Canning town glass works.  http://www.thecgs.co.uk/apps/photos/photo?photoid=125092210

That is indeed correct but it is important to note that it is pressed glass, not cut. Unfortunately, it has little value
