Topic: Could this be forest glass?

Thanks for the replies and input chaps,i think i need to handle alot more glass,but to my eye and hand this piece seems very different from pieces i've seen and handled in this genre.

As a matter of interest ,where's the best place to go to see medieval,or older, glass live,i'm sure they won't let you pick it up though,but it would be nice to have a gander.

has the most extensive collection. In general, waldglas is a German affair.
The Fitzwilliam has a nice historical collection, but waldglas is underrepresented.
Not sure what the V&A has on show.

Managed to get my hands on a better camera today with a stronger light to show the pontil marks and the type of wear for anyone interested in this thread.
