Green enameled? tall Roemer help please.
« on: July 13, 2014, 02:18:28 PM »
Can any one help with this please i have no idea when or where it was made.

It has some wear to the base and there is no pontil, the middle of the base looks like it has been pushed in, it has a lovely ring to it and appears well made, i think the decoration is enamel but that is just a guess.

It's 7 1/2 inches in height, 2 3/4 inches across the rim and 3 1/8th inches across the base.

I found a very similar glass on this website http://www.roemer-aus-theresienthal.de/index2.html, the owner of the Website is also a member here and he said this glass is around 1900 in date, and it was ok to post the link, this might help someone else in the future.
