Anybody know the maker of this weight?

I didn't have a clue, but I had it on my snipe list anyway just because I think it's gorgeous. Unfortunately, I got my butt kicked.

Hi

I cannot quite enlarge the signature cane enough to be 100% sure, but I am fairly certain it is a J Glass piece (John Deacons, circa 1980). I would have been quite happy as seller to get that sale price, but it is not way out of line.

It is a Jay Glass limited edition with an "A" signature cane for Allan Scott.  This was a limited edition of 101 pieces made in 1981.  It should also have a "J1981" signature cane on the bottom.  The design was called "A Bouquet on Latticinio"

I was going to say the same cannot quite make out the signature cane but looks like a J glass weight, then I saw the sticker on the bottom that says Jay #6 so that pretty much confirmed it ;)
