I do not recognise it, but I'm not a pwt person. It is possible, I wouldn't preclude Mtarfa, but wait until some proper pwt folk comment. :)

It's a pwt, Chris.
Sometimes I can recognise patterns or designs used on other kinds of glass objects when they are used on pwts, but when they're just paperweights, I'm clueless.

That's not a Mtarfa base. Look more like a Teign Valley Glass poked in base, but perhaps a second with those wrinkles

Chris, if you examine the lower edge and base of the weight very carefully, you may find a small "tvg" mark. At least, that is how some of the general vases etc. were marked.
