Identification of large orange vase
« on: May 07, 2016, 12:37:12 AM »
Hi there - I have this large orange vase that was given to me - I would love help trying to identify it's maker or origins.  I would really appreciate any help.

The vase stands 57 cms tall and weighs 2.2kgs.  Has white inside.

Thanks
Carina

I've seen a lot of modern manufactured glass with a concave matte finish pontil grind like that, not a mirror polished and roughly executed.

I can't be certain with your piece, but all those I've seen with a base like this have been of modern China production in a variety of shapes colours and formation. Usually heavy and large.
So it goes.
