Loredano Rosin was from Murano. He is well known in modern art glass studio circles for his Chalcedony glass. Others are now making chalcedony as well and it can be found in all sorts of colors. The striking and the alignment of the molecules in the long atomic strands can create all types of interesting effects. Silver is an element when used with other elements can produce some amazing color effects, but many times difficult to reproduce again. That's why most commercial factories stayed away from it plus the costs. As I recall I saw him put on a demo about 20 years ago in Toronto at one of our Glass Arts Society conventions. I was amazed at the time with his talents.
