Today's Buy
« on: June 01, 2006, 06:29:46 PM »
Hi, just wondered if anybody had any ideas about this vase I bought today:

Whole Thing
Base
Detail

I think it has some age to it, with convincing basewear and associated grime. It's a pale amber colour, with mainly white opaque splodges, some brown and a lot of gold coloured inclusions (these don't come out in the photos). There are also some tiny black flecks. Ground out pontil on the base.

Grateful for any ideas!
