New flea and antiques market in Cardiff, South Wales
« on: September 15, 2014, 10:38:24 AM »
The Cardiff Indoor Flea Market has been up and running for almost a couple of months now, more and more sellers are setting up there and the second of two units is filling up nicely. There is a third unit that may be available if it keeps growing at this rate.

There are daily pitches for the table top sale section and a craft workshop and pitches will be starting soon.

Information, maps etc here: http://www.cardiffindoorfleamarket.com/ there is also a Facebook page if anyone want to look it up. The whole site is level so there are no stairs or steps to negotiate.

I have opened a stall there and surprise surprise it is loaded with glass...

At the moment we are open Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday, 7am until 3pm. All welcome.

Some photos of my stall and following a few more of one of the units.

John

It's really good to see such places opening and giving the potential small business a chance.

I wish you and the rest of the stall owners and the whole enterprise the very best.  ;D

Thanks both, much appreciated. It has been encouraging watching it grow, every week has seen change and development. A proper cafe with hot food is planned as well as other improvements.

Kevin has moved this thread to Events - that somehow feels so much more special than the Marketplace.  ;D

Hmmm - I did not look at the detail of this too well. I thought it was a notification of a new antiques fair (i.e. an event), even though the title clearly states "market".

Maybe I will move it back to Market Place ... tomorrow ... perhaps.  ;D
