Czech? Large bowl.
« on: September 17, 2014, 10:21:58 AM »
Hi,
Wondering if anyone recognises my large bowl? I'm guessing it's Czech? I've had it for quite a few years now and often search around, hoping to ID it but I've been entirely unsuccessful as yet. Perhaps I'm looking in the wrong direction?
Any advice appreciated,
Many thanks  :)

Not sure if it's bad etiquette to bump posts?  ??? My apologies if it is...I'm just hoping to catch an eye of one who hasn't read this post. Many thanks.

A bump after a week or two is ok. It's bumps after a day or two that are frowned upon. :)

Murano seems more likely, I am sure it is not Czech.

I have seen vases and bowls with similar rim design, bearing (generic) Murano labels. Like >> this one.
Unfortunately very difficult to pin down a maker for these pieces...

Sorry, cannot be of more help ;)

Michael
