It is the Perthshire 2001 B Annual Collection Paperweight - called Amber Bouquet.  A limited edition of 150 paperweights.  2 3/4" diameter.  The original retail was $350.

Thank you very much Allan!

Now I have a followup question...Since they went out of business in 2002, was 2001 the last year that they produced an Annual Collection weight?

Hi. There was a series of new pieces for 2002 as well.  I have a number of 2000 to 2002 catalogues (main, mid year, specials, annual collections), and when I get back from holiday I will try to post copies on my website.

Hi Dave
Although 2001 was the last official Annual Collection issued by Perthshire Paperweights they actually designed the weights for the 2002 collection and made several copies of each before the factory closed in 2002 so although there is no official Annual Collection for that year at least we know what the new designes were. I know GMB member Derek managed to find photographs of all these new 2002 weights but I cannot remember if he posted these on this message board or not.
I was lucky enough to get a copy of one of the new 2002 weights so here is  PP249 an Octagonal weight.
Hope this clarifies the position for you
Dave

Thank you Dave for the additional insight. It is appreciated. You are lucky to have acquired one of those 2002 weights!

Hi Davek

Daveweight is correct - the photo that he refers to was actually published together with my article detailing how
I acquired the photos of the 2002 collection in the PCC newsletter issue 101 (winter 2009).

This is the composite picture showing the complete 2002 collection clearly showing the PP249 owned by Daveweight.

Best regards

Derek

Thanks Derek. If your article is available online I will read it. We have a little Pyramid weight similar to what you have shown in your composite, only ours is done with a blue core. I have seen these before, but never with a PP number attributed.
