Seguso Vetri d'Arte leaping fish sculpture, model 14313
« on: October 07, 2014, 09:51:54 PM »
Thanks to Marc Heiremans SVdA book, I finally managed to ID this sculpture!
I bought this over 6 years ago at an auction for the Murano figurine which came with it for around £30.
As the dorsal fin is missing, it's been sat on my bathroom windowsill since I brought it home, looks gorgeous with the sunlight passing through it.

Was so chuffed to find it in the book!
Page 180, 1969, model 14313.

Measures 14" x 18" and is incredibly heavy!

Anita, needless to say, feel free to add him to your Murano Zoo x

Great fish, Dan! Love the colour combination...
It is always so satifying to find an ID after such a long time.

Gosh, I will have to buy the Heiremans book ::)

That is a very fine fish, lovely sinuous lines.

Still reading the book but very happy with the purchase so far.
