Any ideas please on this boat shaped dish in green frosted/satin glass. 13 cms long, on four small feet. 1930s?
All thoughts appreciated

It looks similar to the Bagley coggy' boat posy vase (Bagley design No. 3198).        May we see the underside please  -  see this link....
http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,40454.msg252656.html#msg252656

Edited to add......     the Bowey and Parsons book shows a frosted blue example with cloured flowers cold painted on the side the side.                Regret your suggestion of date a little optimistic............   apparently made from the late 1950's until 1975, but allegedly a scarce item, and the above authors comment......  "the design was based on the coggy boat used in Hull docks.     Production was very limited and the book example is the only one the authors have seen" :)

does appear to be a match.            I guess that a newel post is probably a first for the GMB as a support for a boat ;)

I have the same boat in green frosted with the remains of coloured painted flowers with the  inscription (Isle of Wight) . I will add a couple of pictures later.
