Help to identify this partial label - Rogaska
« on: June 05, 2006, 11:17:52 AM »
I bought a heavy crystal bowl at Battersea yesterday with a partial label.  http://glassgallery.yobunny.org.uk/displayimage.php?pos=-2201

I can read the words 'Rogaska S... ' and I see in Ivo's book that there are two glassworks in Rogaska Slatina, Slovenia - 'Steklarna Rogaska Slatina' and 'Steklarska Sola Rogaska Slatina'.  I also found on the internet a company called 'Miller Rogaska' which makes barware etc.  One of their patterns called 'Vortex' is very like the cutting on my bowl.  http://glassgallery.yobunny.org.uk/displayimage.php?pos=-2202

Anyone know the company which uses / used this label?   And who the designer of the bowl might be?
