Topic: A very big covered pot with hobstars

Good day to all!
This week i bought this covered pot that uses hobstars as decoration.
It is a great piece, about 43,0 cm andweighed between 2 to 3 kg.
The last picture is to compare the size with a Saint Louis tumbler.
Anyone know anything about the origin, the manufacturer of it?

the covered jar is in the style of American brilliant cut glass. the Europeans also produced rich cut glass, but my suspicions are that this item was produced after the cut class heyday which lasted from c. 1876-1914. after the war, American cut glass production dwindled, but producers in turkey and a few places in eastern Europe attempted to take their places. the quality between the abc period glass and the neo abc is usually a difference between night and day. prodigious quantities from turkey and elsewhere have been produced from before ww2 down to the present time.

while I am not dogmatically stating that yours is modern, that would be my guess at the moment. the shape and form is certainly not typical of the first period glass.

Largest output of this type of cut glass was in Bohemia in the 1930s. The slightly yellowish tint of the material is a giveaway.
