Can anyone ID this minature vase, measures 9.5cm / 3.75in. tall, there is a signature on the base but is very hard to make out, possibly starts with a P.

The glass is frosted with lovely abstract flower motifs around the lower half, thought it may be by Bertil Vallien for Kosta Boda, but can't find any matches.

Any ideas?

sorry but the signature really is too faint to photograph, but here is the base.

Try rubbing talc over the signature that helps it stand out.

Another method that may work isx to take it at a very shallow angle so the bse appears white and the signature "black".  This takes the pattern and colour out of the action see two photos below illustrating this.

have tried all methods to photograph the base, but is too small and indistinct and uneven to photograph, pretty sure now it says Roger or Robert, Robert Held possibly?

Robert Held (  www.robertheld.com ) is a Canadian glass artist and you can Google for images.  I think you may find some very like yours.

hi there, thanks for the reply, there are quite a few similar, can't find an exact match, also his signatues seem to vary, RHAG, RH art glass, etc so this could be signed by him.
