glass bookworm - any ID please?
« on: February 27, 2010, 05:11:39 AM »
I have owned this little fella for at least 25 - 30 years, and he wasn't new when I got him. I am a bookworm as well as a glass addict so he was a perfect gift for me.

I think he is beautifully made - with an expressive face - can anyone help ID  his maker or even country of origin. He was bought here in Western Australia.

sorry - forgot to say he is approx 14 cm or about 5 1/2 inches tall

any info or suggestions welcome

Apart from Steuben and FM Konstglas, I don't know of others that made these.
But I did see a borosilicate artist that made one with blue eyes... might this be a possibility?

If not, I will keep looking for you Jak, and hope something comes to light. :)
