It looks like a punch bowl base - possibly Imperial. I'll check a few books.

Bit small for a punch bowl! I was going through some Weil catalogues and noticed that they imported a lot of Milk Glass made in Sweden or Portugal. Some could be stylistically similar, but no exact matches.

A punch bowl BASE. The stand. The bottom bit. What the bowl stands on.

We've talked about punch bases before on the GMB - they are often mistaken for vases or comports. Here's the most recent thread about a "Fashion" punch base.

http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,4252.0.html

I'm not saying yours is "Fashion", Vintage rose - I'm just showing the shape. I'm not sure what the pattern name is - hopefully someone else will know.

Ok I saw another one but in Crystal.  It was believed to be a Cambridge piece from the line #2351.  Hope this helps someone to help me : )

If anyone has the Newbound's Milk Glass book, I think this piece is in there.

Again, out of town with no books.

Hurry Home is all I can say!
I also have one more if you have not seen the post.  For a large green compote. Could you please look at it?
