Unknown but probably French; it's  Breton costume. We've had them before. In future, please stick to one item per thread to avoid confusion and make moving resolved threads to the right place easier

This one is signed BVB, apparently it stands for Beauce Verreries Bourgogne.

We still don't know much about them though, so every instance adds to what we know, and pinning these Breton dancer bowls down to them is a big plus, thank you.  I only  remembered them as I posted in one of the earlier topics, a set of small transfer decorated tot glasses marked BVB that I'd picked up as props for a play.
