Help with Identification
« on: June 07, 2006, 04:51:14 PM »
Hello All,
This is the first piece of  Murano I ever dealt with.  One year later  I am still trying to find information on the piece. It was purchased in an antique shop and we were told it was Murano but thier are no labels.  I did see the same  bowl/ashtry in a different color with a large rooster in another shop which did have the murano label but not enough to identify the piece. It is a bowl/ashtray with an attached bird.  The bowl resembles calcedonia glass somewhat. The bird you can see the glass canes. I can send a picture to anyone that would like to help.  I don't know how to get them on this site.  Help with that would also be appreciated.
