Can you help me identify this Paperweight. Around 9cm in Height. It has a mark impressed into the base. I have taken an impression of the mark. Really good clarity to the clear glass. No help but worth a mention  ;D
Pete. :-)

heehee, I'm getting in before Christine!  ;D
You've got the mark absolutely correct, that is a wonderful representation of it, but upside-down. It's a man with a blowpipe with a blob of glass on the end, and it's Uredale Glass.

He's leaning back a bit, holding the blowing iron out.  ;D

(I've seen a line drawing of the logo, I do have a slight advantage.)

Christine taught me to recognise Uredale Glass,  :-* and it took a lot of getting through :-[
My memory's going too - I find team work, getting together with other folk who might remember better than me, helps a lot.
Sometimes they remember the things I don't; while I remember some of the things they don't. ;D
Lists are good, but only if you can remember where you've put them.  ::)
It also helps if two folk who are a bit wobbly get together and prop each other up to prevent each other getting blown away by strong winds or tripping over bad pavements.  :)

I had an Uredale glass for many years which I sold recently, yes thats what it is. I retained it for many years in my cabinet because it reminded me that I was sold it as victorian because it had a pontil ( only £25), I enjoyed the mistake!!!!!   I learned a bit in 20 years.
