Hi Glen
Thank you for the photo.  The vase I saw from memory is very much like yours, at NZ$45 I did not buy it, not knowing what it was, it is in a shop that my wife and I vist, if it is still there on our next visit I will try and get a photo.

Tony - guess what! I finally found the vase. The Registered Number is 728791 - it is the same as yours (and is also the vase in the photo I posted). You did remember correctly, and it is the item that was registered by the International Bottle Company in 1927. I am almost certain that it is a Czech item.

Thanks Tony - Steve took the pic not me, he's much better at "lighting" etc., than I am. It's just using the old digital, indoors, against a black backgound. Though I think he had the flood lights on it

Good luck with IBC. I'll watch out for your feedback and keep my fingers crossed.

Bernard C, re. reply #4:

RD number 726384 was registered on 6 January 1927 for J.C.Cottle. His address is listed as Napier Avenue, Hurlingham, Fulham, London SW6.

See the discussion about a clear, stoppered, pressed decanter bearing the same RD number at
