Can anyone identify my latest new purchase.  its cream, red and small pieces of silver in it.  The pontil is rough.  Thanks for your expertise

I'm afraid your pics don't enlarge well, the pontil scar looks heat finished rather than rough, from what I can see - but I can't see much. :-[

I am unsure to be honest.  It is bigger than a posy vase  9.5cm high.  Pics are a bit rubbish but all I got is my mobile. :-X  This one is a bit better

Penelope, when you say silver, do you mean a silvery grey colour, or sparkly silvery bits?

More likely Lustrousstone is right and I was completely wrong, then.  ;D Nothing unusual there. ::)
Silvery flakes of stuff is probably mica.

It is definately made from glass.  I never heard of Mica.  Is that the make or the style of glass with the silver bits?
