Topic: is this wedgewood?

Hi guys
i have bought this small thistle vase recently and thought it may be by wedgewood
it is half mottled green with gold flecks and plan green on the bottom half also it once had a label on base as you can see left over glue any thoughts?

I would look north, not east. I would say it was Scottish but don't know whether it is Monart, Vasart or Srathearn

My guts strongly suggest Strathearn.

Having just been on a website i have just seen one the same in pink described as monart but all the monart glass ive seen are fully mottled ,  i agree its most likely vasart or strathearn

That lovely deep petrol-ly clear green is very typical of Strathearn. Mottled pink tends to be Monart or Vasart.
This shape was produced by all three.
The very flared rim is also a little more typical of Strathearn than the others.

Joe - it always helps to provide the dimensions of any item.

For example, if this piece was stated to be greater than, say, 7 inches tall, then maybe people would initially think Monart rather than Vasart or Strathearn?

I have assumed it is one of the very small posy vases. The size of the pontil scar does suggest that.

the size is 10cm high x 8cm across the top i thought it was unlikely monart from images ive seen but the same design in pink was listed at an auction as monart myself im sure its not  im confident in the guys on here as some auctions are happy to describe items incorrectly at times imo
