Topic: Ysart maybe ID = Strathearn - early (most likely)

 Been a bit disappointed with prices my Strathearn and Perthshire everyday weights have been fetching lately anyone else noticed?
So a bit wary when I saw this the other day looks a bit nicer than the average any thought Ysart Vasart or Strathearn ?

Not Ysart Brothers (Vasart). But without seeing side and base views I would not like to choose between Vasart Ltd and Strathearn, although the "chunky white twists" do suggest Strathearn.

Hi.  Looks like an early Stathearn to me - I have seen similar with Strathearn labels.  As Kevin notes, these white latticino twists were favoured by Strathearn: about 10 years ago I bought a lot of over 400 Strathearn paperweights, and all the spoke designs had similar white twists.

Interesting thread,and without reading this I would have gone for it,because of the very competent twists ,having seen ones looking a lot looser and without the tight double strand effect,probably the wrong terms but you know what I mean.

Me too thought it was much nicer than most I had over the years.
