I was sure that I would be able to give some background information on Jim Hart, but I have found very little from the usual sources.

However, Jim is an American artist, producing mainly millefiori weights in concentric designs. As well as regular style millefiori canes, he makes silhouette and rose canes. I think he has been making weights for over 12 years.

He sells his work through ebay and etsy.

His ebay name is jhpaperweights and This Link shows, via eBay UK, some of his latest completed items.

Perhaps direct contact through the eBay system will be the best action.

He previously sold on ebay as jim_hart_art_glass - and at the time he had an "about me" page connected to the alias. Seems not to be available any longer - but I have copied it at the time.

I guess it would not be correct to post this (fairly long) text on gmb: any comment from our "superiors"?

Jim Hart and his wife came over a few years ago and gave a talk to the Paperweight Collectors Circle, he is a nice easy going guy and I have several of his weights, he also sent me a nice selection of his canes. Here are some examples

You guess right Wuff, unless you ask Jim for his permission first, in which case it'd be fine.

PS not a "superior" just a facilitator and fixer. : )
