Murano/Venetion Latticino bowl, help please.
« on: April 16, 2006, 10:13:47 PM »
I've picked this up cheaply, er, I think.

I've been reading through some old posts so I know that these are difficult to identify. But I'm posting it anyway.

It has a broken pontil which I have learned means either new or old. No wear to it what-so-ever. A few little bits of black grit (I think) underneath.

All Comments appreciated, thanks.  :)

It was only £2.

It measures around 5 inches accross. 5.50 inches at the widest parts. Just over 1.50 inches high.

I guess there are many firms that create this type of glass with this pink colour but...

...any chance of it being Vetreria La Fenice?

Are La Fenice seen as being a good maker?
Thank you very much!

I think so, take a look at the completed listings on ebay.
