Yawn, I couldn't sleep.  :(

Have you any clues of the maker? I'm assuming it's Murano. It looks like a swan and probably something recent.

Tiny little controlled bubbles forming a pattern.  :o

Thanks.  :)

Now then, where did I put it?  :?

I think it's polished flat on the base and the bubbles are inside the blue glass, I'll just check...

I like the way the bubbles help to define the feathers. It does look modern though

I never really noticed that the bubbles were defining the feathers.

Yep, it has a polished flat base, and the bubbles are either inside the blue glass or just on top with a thick clear casing over it. The beak has been applied. There's a bit of ware around the edges of the base and not in the middle. That's odd unless the base it's slightly concave.

Hi,

This looks like Marcolin/FM Konstglas, Ronneby, Sweden. There's one for sale on the auction site Tradera:

Hi,

Guess what? This swan is now mine!   :D

It was my birthday last week and a couple of friends of mine bought this swan on Tradera and surprised me last week! What a lovely birthday present!  :D

Here's a pic of it together with 2 other swans from FM Konstglas, Ronneby, Sweden.

My friends know that I collect FM but I must admit that I don't know that much about FM.  I know a little but it's difficult to find out info about them!
