Any info appreciated - vintage Bormioli. ID = Borgonovo

Please, can anyone help me with any information on these glasses and I'm assuming their glasses made by Bormioli.  Any and all info you can give me is greatly appreciated i.e. manufacturing date and pattern.. Julie

Hello and welcome the glass message board.

If I interpret your photographs well, your glasses carry  the B mark, the Italy  mark and the mould number 8. This means they have been mechanically made on a fully automatic machine which makes it rather recent.  Bormioli are one of the largest manufacturers of glassware in the world and they make glass which is not collectible due to the fact there so much of it and it is hard to pinpoint.

As for its function it looks as if ths is an ice cream bowl.  it is footed and impossible to drink from.

I like collecting catalogues of current ranges as in 5 or 10 years time they will help answering questions about today's pieces on the board. :)
