Whitefriars or not?
« on: May 19, 2015, 12:38:36 PM »
I picked up this little vase in Norway a few years ago.  It looks like Whitefriars, in that the aubergine colour is there and the bark crinkling effect.

Can anyone shed any light on who else could have made it?  Thinking it could be Scandinavian.

Thanks in anticipation,

Donnarob

Definitely not Whitefriars.  Could be Ingrid Glashutte - looks very similar.

Hi Vidrioguapo

Having the most awful job identifying this small glass vase.

Looked on the site you recommended and yes, it does look similar, but none of the designs have the clear glass bottom.  Guess I will have to search a bit further.

Thanks for your help.

I did not recommend a site to look at, the links at the end of my post are just signatures for me and link to the blogs I have.  But have a look at this thread - there's an ingrid glass with clear casing and a label
