Hi I cannot seem to be able to identify what this (compote,parfait etc) glass is, can you help?

Hiya welcome to the GMB show.
Assuming the "france" is raised you are probably looking at an ARC product, world's largest producer of mechanical glass. As for function, I vote ice cream.
