ID help - purple crimp flower over green
« on: June 05, 2015, 11:46:37 PM »
Good day,

This piece is roughly 3" in diameter and 2-5/8" tall with an encased crimp style flower having three inner petals and four outer petals, lavender with blue striations in a half twists over a green ground. It rests on a flat semi polished base.

Many thanks for the help!
Eric

One last image showing the side profile, notice the blue tint to the glass in the upper dome.

I would appreciate a second look at this weight.
The style looks very similar to one made be Peter Holmes published in Robert Hall's "Scottish Paperweights" (Top of Pg.90).

Thanks,
Eric
