Hi, I bought this Glass Lion at a boot fair recently and wondered if anyone could help me with id please? he is a flatback weighting in at a massive 4lb (1.8kg) he is 7.5inches(20cm) high and 6.5(17.5cm) across, of matt and clear glass, the inscription underneath appears to read "RK 33142 60N Yongsevy" ??!!   Any ideas and help would be greatly appreciated

Many Thanks & happy Summer Solstice!!

Hi,  :P

I would say Royal Krona, Sweden.

I hope someone can give a better ID.  :D

Hi Della, many thanks for that lead & I do believe you could be right! I've googled & e-Bayed for Royal Krona and the style and inscriptions on some items seem to be very similar!! not bad for a pound eh?

    Not bad at all, I would say :!:  :!:

I am 99% sure that it is Royal Krona, the only thing I can't do is identify the other name on the piece, or the year made etc.

It is lovely, though.

Yes, once we have an id I or others sometimes put it in the title to attract more views. It is a delightful lump of glass too!

Hi John,

I have done a little more searching and the signature should be,
M. Jonasson, circa: early 1970's (Mats Jonasson)

Hope this helps a little more.
