Sorry to add to your woes Anne, but I spotted another couple of necessary tweaks this morning (what can I say, I use your site a *lot*  ;D)

Walther>Globus
Quote
Warning
Folder: :files: path is not a folder.
Path:
/data01/gtsweb/public_html/cms3/images/walthe
/
I'm afraid the size of the display box cut off the end of the text, so I couldn't get the full path name.

Also had the same message on Walther>Kopenhagen

And Walther>Münster isn't displaying the image at the top, just the ? in a box.

Best wishes,

The back and next buttons being moved was deliberate, Dave, and should be at the top of every page now.  The Brockwitz numbering had been fixed, I am still working through the rest as I get time. Thanks to you both for keeping flagging up the miss-links, it helps enormously.

Lindsey, thanks, I will look at that when I get home tonight.  8)

Edited to update: the Walther Globus, Kopenhagen and Münster images all sorted, thanks again. :)

PS I am so glad that you use the site such a lot, and am really thrilled others do too.  :-*

From Sowerby to Brockwitz  (as far as I've got)  the buttons have moved to the top of the pages.  Up to and including Joblin they were at the bottom.

Bernsdorf

Renate:  No > 2121/B.
2121/B:   > Gabriele.

I also found the same numeric listing in Brockwitz as mentioned by LinzH above.

Bernsdorf sorted, thanks Dave.  8)

Rudolfova > 11771-3 & 11914-5 - The image is not loading, just the [?]

Also on the next page, 12811-12812, I'm not sure if there is meant to be an image or not (it's blank) but usually you state "catalogue image not available", or similar.

bws,

Thanks Lindsey, fixed the image for the first one (folder path was wrong). Removed the 12811-12 page as it duplicated what is already on the 12731-12736 12811-12812 page. :)

Spotted a couple of bloopers in the Inwald category.  ;)

on the "9439, 9440" page, the back button points to "8820 "Crane"" & the next button points to "Inwald"

on the "12032" page, the back button points to "11771" & the next button to "8820"

Sorted; the oddity in numbering is because the site sorts the back and next by strict first number order followed by alpha order. So as it's a dumb system 11000 comes before 8000! So I have to reorganise the menu listing to match the back - next sort order.

I'm not sure if this trick will work on the software you are using for your site, but I had similar issues on a system I used to work on when I was in IT many moons ago.

The work around was to have two variables, one which was used for the sort and the other for the display.  So in the case of pattern 8000, it would be held as 08000 for the sort and 8000 for the display.  That way 08000 would be sorted before 11000, but 8000 would be displayed on the screen.

It's to do with the alphanumeric values of the individual characters in the string.  It always looks at the left most character first, then the next and the next.

I'm not even sure if that makes sense reading it back, I mean it does to me, but not sure if it will to anybody else!  ???

But Inwald is all looking good, with forward/back displaying in the same order as menu  :)
