I think it's the closest match we've seen yet, Angela. :) There are slight variations, the ribs and base ring, which may indicate the catalogue one is a nibble / hors d'oeuvres tray, but I'd definitely be looking for more Schwepnitz catalogues to see if we can match the set up there.

I've done a comparison view using Pamela's catalogue image and a photo of the tray from the GTS website, hopefully Pamela may have some thoughts too.
Cheers! Anne, da tekniqual wizzerd

Further to our discussion about mystery set #012 looking closer at the Schwepnitz catologues I found the candlestick...see here Anne http://www.glas-musterbuch.de/Schwepnitz-1936.131+B6YmFja1BJRD0xMzEmcHJvZHVjdElEPTU2OTEmcGlkX3Byb2R1Y3Q9MTMxJmRldGFpbD0_.0.html   I had a repkg from Pamela who agrees it is a probable id the tray was a divided dish but very similar to the trinket set tray...she also pointed out the link between Schwepnitz and Walther which would explain the nice quality of this set.

Angela, this looks like the tray  from the GTS mystery set #113  http://www.glasstrinketsets.com/Gallery/thumbnails.php?album=118
with the lidded pots and an atomiser from GTS mystery set #031  http://www.glasstrinketsets.com/Gallery/thumbnails.php?album=34

Seems to be the same colour blue for all the pieces, so perhaps #113 and #031 from the same manufacturer?

Fred.

Yes it would appear so ...each piece of my blue set including the tray is marked Czechoslovakia...I also saw a pink set exactly like mine, Looking at the ring tree of Mystery set 031 http://www.glasstrinketsets.com/Gallery/thumbnails.php?album=34.....I have that with another set by Hermanova Hut

Haha well done Anne....talking of Schwepnitz I think I have further confirmation that mystery set #012 is by Schwepnitz and called Rippen see catalogue picture of candlestick here http://www.glas-musterbuch.de/Schwepnitz-1936.131+B6YmFja1BJRD0xMzEmcHJvZHVjdElEPTU2OTEmcGlkX3Byb2R1Y3Q9MTMxJmRldGFpbD0_.0.html
which looks like one in you pjcs of mystery set 012 http://www.glasstrinketsets.com/Gallery/thumbnails.php?album=15
that along with the similarity of the mystery tray and the Schwepnitz divided tray http://www.glas-musterbuch.de/Schwepnitz-1936.131+B6YmFja1BJRD0xMzEmcHJvZHVjdElEPTU2OTcmcGlkX3Byb2R1Y3Q9MTMxJmRldGFpbD0_.0.html
what do you think ????
