Hi,

If anyone can help me identify these paperweight(s) I'd be most grateful (original post separated into individual posts).

Inherited from a grandparent, so are assumed to be '60s or 70s. Some say 'Caithness', another 'Phoenix (something)', a few are 'signed', other than this I know little about them. All in good condition.

Thanks in advance!  :)

Hmmm ... from the "Manson Phoenix" I have only seen millefiori and lampwork paperweights, usually with PP canes and not scratch signed: I may have missed something, of course, but I have never seen an apple.

But then there is Roger Tye's Phoenix Hot Glass Studio - an he produces a Magma Range, including an apple. One of his paperweights is offered here.

Just as an aside: there is also a Phoenix Studio (Carl Radke) in Harmony, California ... just to add to the confusion.

I have to correct myself: looking through my signature image collection, I actually found two "Manson Phoenix" weights, scratch signed in addition to the PP canes. Signature "PHOENIX 2002" in capitals.
I also found a Roger Tye Magma paperweight scratch signed "Phoenix", exactly the signature of the apple in question here.
