Topic: 4 inch Snail.

Any ideas about who made this Snail please ? 

It has a semi matte flatted base base'

It might be Mtarfa...........scroll down to see a snail of similar construction. Searching on Google images under 'glass snail malta' shows this snail along with a similar looking one in blue /with yellow? spots (which is on Pinerest).

Hi Mike,

I am happy to think it could be Mtarfa but with the possibility that glassblowers that worked at MDG went to Mtarfa it could well be from MDG. 

The colours are correct for MDG and also it's base looks right.

I rest my case..............
