Topic: Ummm......Murano or What? Red Crown Label

Hi there:

I am NOT sure about this item wonky glass bowl.  Looks Murano to me (in a sense) but the quality does seem to be a bit less.  Polished ground bottom look like wear and Murano.......BUT.......It has the Red Crown Foil Label on it.  Bottom shows good wear.  I myself have had another item with this label.  So I assume it is an Import label ??  Any info on this label ??  Here is the other item I had with this label:

I think there have been some other posts too with this label......interesting label being a Crown.  Oh yeah, the size is about:

~ 5 inches long one way
~ 4 inches wide
~ About 3 inches tall at the highest point

This article has a pottery piece with a label from Japan - the label contains a crown that contains similarities to the one on your label.

I suspect your bowl and vase might be Japanese.
Sometimes the label can be found on ceramics as well as glass so it might help to search for Japanese labels somehow?
