Topic: Stopper - is it Mdina?

This is 3ins long and 1 3/4ins at its widest. The blue-ish banding that runs round it can, in places, be felt on the surface of the glass. I'm wondering if it is Mdina. Any opinions would be welcome. Many thanks

I think it is as well.  Handy to have in case a bottle turns up missing a stopper.

Tortoiseshell colour, likely from a round or square bottle, similar to this one.

The stoppers can easily get lost or fall out and get broken, I reckon your chances are pretty good, maybe not tomorrow though!

I believe your stopper is tortoiseshell, Alastair, but it would still sit very nicely on an amethyst ink pot like the one in the link.

I would suggest that the seller is overvaluing that bottle by a significant margin...
