hello and welcome to the board :)

Great shaped vase.

I can't help with your request but hopefully someone will be along in the next few days who can help.  Not everyone visits every day so do keep an eye on your replies.

Looks like a Scavo type finish. Very striking.

To offer a hint I would need to have some sort of idea...

It does not look typically like scavo from Cenedese or Seguso Vetri d'Art. Try searching using the term corroso as well.

Czech rather than Murano?

John do you remember discussions about, or have you seen, that crackle 'mimosa' type vase in red crackle over I think a yellow base glass, that I think was listed as Loetz or Kralik somewhere.  I'm not sure that was ever identified with a source and I remember thinking it might be 'newer' rather than Nouveau.  It had a similar type rim and shape (perhaps without the foot).  It reminds me of that in shape.

Edited - Aha - this one here

Yes it reminded me of that one too but I thought there were enough differences to assume no connection.

I think Frank's vase looks like super quality, my guess would be high end Murano. I need more books!

Yes I had already researched for corroso, but they look alike but there isn't any that looks the same or similar, I need more books as well. Between Italian or Czech I'm more inclined to Murano Glass, because of the glass' finesse.
