Uranium dish - ID = Walther & Sohne "Sigrid" pattern
« on: November 23, 2015, 12:09:33 PM »
Hi everyone

I wondered if someone could identify this dish for me, it is quite large, it is uranium, about 10" across.  I have put it down as art deco as that's the design it most resembles, other than that I've drawn a blank.

Thank you very much

But only if it really is uranium. If it' just green it's post war and VEB Sachsenglas. Have you checked it with a UV light

Hi, thanks for the replies.  Yes I've checked it with a UV light, its definitely uranium, I decided to invest in a larger torch thats in my kit, and a keyring one for when I go out sourcing my glass :-D

thanks again

Hi again!

Just googled some images, should it have a figure with it, or were they separate?

thanks

Figures with a flower block were optional but here's the one that came with my post-war Sigrid bowl http://lustrousstone.co.uk/cpg/displayimage.php?pid=2282
