Hi folks,

The title of this message refers to a blue and silver label that is shown on a couple of Murano paperweights discussed in the Paperweights Forum:

I am sure I have seen the label in a message somewhere in the GMB and I thought it was in the main Murano Labels thread (with images now in the Yobunny Gallery), but no luck there. General searches have been unsuccessful.

I think it's an importer or distributor label, but I have no idea of who the "by K B" could refer to or when they were active. Could somebody please take a look at the message in the Paperweights forum and comment.

Kev I'm pretty sure the KB was either an importers or maybe even a retail label. I've seen it on Fratelli Toso pieces in the past including some of the later millefiori vases.

I've also had some very nice Barovier & Toso pieces with the label, but I dont know when they stopped using those labels, or if they actually are out of business, or have just kept going through the years.

From a response in another message somewhere (can't locate it right now) I have now also seen examples of the KB label on weights in an online store. I have emailed the store owner to ask if they know of any info on this label.
