Scandi or not? One ? Two yes. Three no!

I thought these might all be Dartington but research has not helped me draw any conclusions.

The vase and the plate have base characteristics and glass 'brightness' in common (and they were bought together). The moulding is good quality but I can see no marks. The bowl isn't as bright or as detailed and well moulded as the vase.

Are they Dartington or something else? Click to enlarge

I've always thought of the flower bowl to be either Dartington or Ravenhead.  Sorry, can't be more specific.  I think I've got a platter in that design but unfortunately doesn't have a label.

I think you're probably right about the bowl Anne. Does anyone have any thoughts on the vase and the plate?

I now pretty confident that the bowl is Arcoroc. I found a punch set and glasses that were marked. That still leaves the vase and the plates. My gut feeling is now Scandi. They are much better quality then the bowl - anyone?

Christine,
it may be worth while looking at Humppila / Kumela (Kumela was part of Humppila in the 70s / early 80s) for your vase

Have a look at:
http://www.huuto.net/fi/showitem.php3?itemid=35441393
http://www.huuto.net/fi/showitem.php3?itemid=35441315
for Humppila.
They seem to have done a large number of "petal" type designs.

I've a floral type Kumela dish (piccy towmorrow!) which I know was produced in clear (mine) and with a brown centre (where the "seeds" are). Both companies generally seem to be marked though.

Could be a dead end? I don't know

Christine, your plate is driving me nuts!   :x I've seen it before and can't think where - it was a black & white photo somewhere.  I really expected to find it in Modern Bohemian Glass...and didn't.

I understand Max's feeling that the bowl might have been Czech, as it does bear some resemblance to Spirala, by Pavel Panek, but the pattern continues onto the base.
For me, this is probably not Czech.

Marcus

Christine,
I've put some images of the Kumela daisy dish I have in my album:

Top
Bottom

The top is completely smooth  -  the moulding is underneath.
It is marked / etched, on the underside of one of the petals
"Kaj Blomqvist Kumela" and another word I'm not sure about (begins with "T", fourth letter "l" :? in extremely small writing. It could be "Talous"="home/household" but doesn't seem to fit.
I've also seen this dish with a brown centre.

As I said, maybe a dead end, but certainly these types where done in the Scandic / Nordic Countries.

Thanks Robbo, there are certainly similarities and I know where there's brown-centred one
