thanks Px and John!  So from px's reply I take it they are all one and the same  but have changed their name as time has gone on?
It's a very convoluted world this glass world ;D

Just for reference here is that Lasilandia bird, quite chunky at about 17cm in length.

The first file name is the Welsh way of spelling it......

No typo Sue,  I have about a dozen or more.....all different and all beautiful.  They are hollow blown with a glass gather added to form the neck and head......often sold as Oiva Toikka,  but they are not.  Have you got any of them?  I have a picture of them somewhere here on the GMB,  but can't remember where or in what context!

I haven't got any no, Rosie, I've never heard of, or seen any before.

My albums don't include every bit of glass I have had pass through my sticky mitts Sue. I did not always keep a photographic record, the Lasilandia Bird was one of those bits but in this case it was rehomed with a friend so I have been able to get these snaps.

I have lots of photos of Riihimaki vases and a fair few of those big Italian decorative bottles (most of which I have posted here on the message board at one time or another).
