The Third Edition of Chance glassware
« on: March 28, 2016, 01:24:13 PM »
A new website that continues the research into Chance glassware following the publication of Chance Additions. Currently hosted here:
http://chanceglass.wix.com/thirdeditions

Included are examples from the very rare Aqualux range made in 1939 and the Flora range from c.1950. Examples were not available when Additions was published. The site will increase in time to include pressed glass and Fiestaware range, but also slumped trays made by other companies around the world, as the popularity of this process increased. Already many non-Chance patterns have now been identified through labels, or through similarity of designs or shapes.

The URL might change in the future, but that will be posted here if and when it occurs.

UPDATE:

I have now linked the following URL to this site for easier access.

http://www.chanceglassware.uk/

This is not a .co.uk, just .uk
