Conical vase I/D. ID = Mdina

Any idea which company made this conical vase 9 cm dia at base and 6.8cm tall with a flat, ground and polished base. Even though it looks black from the outside holding it up to the sun shows that the colour is crimson. I looked at Mdina /Isle of wight  etc but did not spot any match.
Any help would be appreciated.

Yup, Mdina.
I think you'll find the black is really a very deep, small-splodged purple, not red, although it can look red in some lighting conditions.

 Yes it was a different colour in natural light as you say purple splodges.
