Dirk, when I googled Rene Roubicek koral I didn't get any images like my piece but when I clicked on your Google images link BINGO!
It never occurred to me that as I am in the UK my search engine would only come up with English references to Rene, no wonder I wasn't getting anywhere. Such a shame I can't read the info that goes with the photos, so frustrating!

 :)
I think you're perfectly safe to say '60s.
The book I have is a lovely, lovely thing, beautifully illustrated, with text in both English and Czech. I've found a second hand copy for sale here.
I really didn't expect to find copies available - it was a limited edition produced by the Studio Glass Gallery, I was given it by the owner when I visited his wonderful Gallery. I think he was impressed at my enthusiasm for his exhibition, I was there for hours, in heaven and marvelling. :)

When I search, I can't seem to restrict it to the uk. ::)

It appears to be the only one available, I found three listings, but they're all for the same copy in Galashiels, just in different countries. (It was not a big print run - about 2 or 3,000 copies, I think.)

If you are interested in the Roubieks' work and history, their place, importance and influence in contemporary glass I cannot think of any better book to have.
Well done for nabbing it - I think you will enjoy it. I love mine.

I had the same problem with the search engine. Obviously the czech accents are mandatory to get the
results. I googled Rene Roubicek and when I had copied and pasted ´René Roubíček´ and added glass
to start another search I got better results. Just found out by chance (and as a result of my laziness)...  ;)
