Info. on Moretti sculpture
« on: July 08, 2006, 08:31:31 AM »
HI,
I have never been to this site before but I'm hoping someone can help me find some info. on a sculpture I have. It is a glass swan and I was told it was a Moretti. On the bottom it is signed Roberto M. There are no colors in it, it's just clear glass (actually kind of yellow when placed next to other clear glass/crystal items). I have been trying to find out what it might be worth and if in fact it was done by Roberto Moretti but I can't find anything even remotely like it or about it on the web. I'm not very good at the web. :(  Any suggestions?
Thanks,
enee

Hi Renee, welcome to the board. Is there any chance you could show us some pictures of your swan? That may help identify it for you. Pics of the base and the signature would be especially useful as well as a general shot. If you're not sure how to post pics we have some nice easy help here: http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,6522.0.html. If you get stuck please just ask for some help. :)
Cheers! Anne, da tekniqual wizzerd

Hi Anne,
Thanks for answering.  Sorry it took so long to get back, life gets in my way.  I have a digital camera and will get some pictures and try to post them.  If I run into problems, I'll be asking for help.  I'm heading out of town for a month so it will be in September before I can get this done.  Again, thanks for the info., I'll be in touch. :D
