Many thanks, a very interesting article, will have to raid all the boot sales before September when everyone will know, and 50p will change to ₤5 or more!!!. the only problem is I am on the other side of the world!!!

The book could be well worth buying, being able to recorgnise a piece which no one else has, and at a bargin price is very satisfying.

I tried selling a Dartington tankard with NSPCC on it for £5.00 and couldn't. Perhaps the commemorative one's are worth more.

I think the one's with the "D" on the front are more desirable, though I have no idea why. Perhaps they are the first one's made?

I've just bought that book. You know, I often wonder if it is worthwhile buying books as the money I make just seems to dissapear on them.  :lol:

But on the other hand, the more you learn from books the more you buy knowing what you've got. You still have to buy more books as there is always another book round the corner. I might make a bit more money by owning a public library.  :roll:

As long as the customers don't mind the books falling to bits as they read them. My books have definetly been over-used and you'de be lucky to find a Miller's book with a front cover still intact.
