Topic: Lead crystal query Photos now added

Does the cut pattern on the bottom of lead crystal pieces give any clue as to the maker? I bought a box of various pieces, teo lidded post are etched on the bottom Made In Edinburgh, Scotland so I am assuming they are vintage Edinburgh Crystal. Thre rest including two stunning perfume bottles are unmarked but have obvious pattern cutting to the bases. I will post pics later.
